Everette Hull is a financial professional with 40 years of demonstrated expertise in originating, developing, structuring and marketing financing transaction solutions, totaling over $14 billion, closing over 455 transactions.
Mr. Hull's areas of concentration have included private placements and financial advisory services to middle-market companies and financial institutions throughout the Southwest. For over 30 years, he was a licensed NASD/FINRA and MSRB broker/dealer General and Municipal Securities Principal and a former practicing securities attorney.
Mr. Hull's finance experience includes both corporate (debt and equity) and public (tax-exempt) financing, M & A advisory services for corporations, portfolio asset securitization transactions, and loan portfolio restructurings and syndications for financial institutions. His 40-year securities law and investment banking career started in 1978 with two years as the Municipal Bond Attorney for the Office of the Attorney General, State of Oklahoma and progressed to regional investment banking firms, Stifel Nicolaus & Co., in Oklahoma City and Rotan Mosle (Payne Webber, now UBS), in Houston.
Over a 16-year period from 1981 to 1996, he originated and successfully managed investment banking capital markets divisions for three of the largest commercial banks operating in the Southwest; (1) First City Bank (now JPMorganChase), in Houston, (2) MBank Capital Markets (now JPMorganChase) and (3) Comerica Securities, both in Dallas.
From 1996 to 2000 he worked for SamcoCapital Markets, a regional investment banking boutique firm in Dallas. In 2000, he co-founded, was an original member of the Board of Directors and an owner of the Independent Bankers Capital Fund ("IBCF"). IBCF is an $80 million preferred stock equity fund, which was the first SBIC licensed by the SBA with 56 independent commercial banks as majority investors. IBCF makes equity investments in middle-market companies in the Southwest. In 2000-2001 he co-founded and managed financings for two internet-based on-line finance portals, PurchasePooling.com and PureMarkets Corporation.
In 1991, Mr. Hull formed, and still owns and manages a boutique investment banking firm, Structured Capital LLC ("SCLLC"), licensed investment banking boutique firm specializing in private placements of debt and equity by middle-market companies which was previously operated as an NASD/FINRA & MSRB broker-dealer.
Mr. Hull's educational background includes a BSBA from Oklahoma State University, MBA coursework at both Southern Methodist University and The University of North Texas and a juris doctorate law degree from the University of Tulsa. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
