Everette Hull is a financial professional with 45 years of demonstrated expertise in originating, developing, structuring, and marketing financing transaction solutions, totaling over $15 billion, closing over 500 transactions.
Mr. Hull’s areas of concentration have included private placements and financial advisory services to middle-market companies, project developers and financial institutions throughout the Southwest, Nationally and in Mexico/LATAM. He was a licensed NASD/FINRA and MSRB broker/dealer General and Municipal Securities Principal for 30 years and a former practicing securities/municipal bond attorney.
Experience: Mr. Hull’s finance experience includes both corporate and project financing (debt and equity) and public (tax-exempt) bond financing, M & A advisory services for corporations, portfolio asset securitization transactions, and loan portfolio restructurings and syndications for financial institutions. His 45-year securities law and investment banking career started in 1978 with two years as the Municipal Bond Attorney for the Office of the Attorney General, State of Oklahoma and progressed to regional investment banking firms, Stifel Nicolaus & Co., in Oklahoma City (now Stifel) and a boutgique oil & gas investment banking firm, now headquartered Rotan Mosle (Payne Webber, now UBS), in Houston.
From 1981 to 1996, he originated and successfully managed investment banking capital markets divisions for three (3) of the largest commercial banks in the Southwest; (1) First City Bank (now JPMorganChase Bank), Houston, (2) MBank Capital Markets (now JPMorganChase Bank), Dallas and (3) Comerica Bank Securities, headquartered in Dallas.
From 1996 to 2000 he was a Managing Director at SamcoCapital Markets, now Commerce Street Capital, a regional investment banking boutique firm in Dallas. In 2000, he co-founded and was an original member of the Board of Directors and an owner of the Independent Bankers Capital Fund (IBCF”). IBCF is an $80 million preferred stock equity and mezzanine debt fund, which was the first Small Business Investment Corporation (“SBIC”) licensed by the Small Business Administration (“SBA”) with 56 independent commercial banks as investors in the IBCF. IBCF invests equity and mezzanine debt in middle-market companies in the Southwest.
In 2000-2001, he co-founded and managed financing transactions for two internet-based on-line finance (“dot.com”) portals, PurchasePooling.com and PureMarkets Corporation.
In 1991, Mr. Hull formed Structured Capital LLC (“SCLLC”), a NASD/FINRA licensed boutique investment banking firm specializing in private placements of debt and equity issued by middle-market companies. The firm operated for 30 years as a NASD/FINRA & MSRB broker-dealer until SCLLC chose to withdraw its license in 2011 and focus solely on non-securities transactions.
Education: Mr. Hull’s educational background includes a BSBA from Oklahoma State University, MBA coursework at both Southern Methodist University and The University of North Texas and a Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He was the Articles Editor of the Tulsa Law Journal.
